Krimmler Waterfalls - approx. 85 km away
You've simply got to see the highest waterfalls in Europe! These unique natural spectacles captivate parents and children alike and leave a lasting impression on all. A visit to the water wonderland is interesting and informative.

Who isn’t familiar with the famous “Echo from Königssee” and the legend of the Watzmann? Bavaria’s most popular destination is located not far from Lofer and promises a special experience. You can also visit the St. Bartholomew church of pilgrimage.
The Großglockner High Alpine Road - approx. 50 km away
Over 36 bends feature on the most famous of all panoramic roads, the Großglockner High Alpine Road, up to Franz Josef’s Höhe. A journey through the Hohe Tauern National Park reveals immense natural beauty. The Ferleiten Wildlife Park is right by the toll station.
Saalachtal Natural Wonders
The popular holiday region of the Saalachtal offers impressive natural wonders, such as the Seisenbergklamm and Vorderkaserklamm gorges and the Lamprechtshöhle. The Lamprechtshöhle is one of the largest cave systems in Europe with a massive length of 51 km. Entry is free to the Seisenbergklamm and Vorderkaserklamm with your Salzburger Saalachtal Card.
